‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2’ Super Bowl Trailer

They’re back! It will be a toss up this year in what Marvel movie will be the biggest hit. With Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 in May, Spider-Man: Homecoming in July and then Thor: Ragnarok in November it is going to be too close to call. But my money will be on Guardians of the Galaxy going by the trailer the team is getting bigger. The new trailer uses Fleetwood Mac’s song “The Chain” which is likely to be on Awesome Mix Vol.2. The good thing about this trailer is that it doesn’t give too much away. James Gunn has a real feel for these characters and the MCU space universe that these characters are apart of and the overall look with the wild visual colours is just amazing. I think David Bautista’s Drax just keeps getting better and better the more I see and Baby Groot is going to steal the show in this movie!

I may have said this before but I can not wait to see the interactions between Kurt Russell and Chris Pratt in this movie. James Gunn has confirmed that Kurt Russell will be playing Star Lord’s father. If I had my way and I was James Gunn or Marvel I’d keep Kurt Russell and his character out of any future trailers. He doesn’t need to be in them, the main characters and especially Baby Groot are already selling this movie well!

We have a lot to look forward to this year in terms of comic book movies and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is at the top of my list!
